Sweet Bay Laurel

Romans used the leaves of the Bay Laurel to create cerimonial wreaths for such things as the Olympics and other holy competitions. It is an evergreen tree that will grow to 50 feet or so outside. Covered with sprays of greenish yellow four petaled flowers in Spring.
