Mountain Mint
Pycnanthemum pilosum
"Perennial growing 24-36 inches tall. Mint flavor and aroma in abundance. Unlike true mints, Mountain Mint remains true-to-type when grown from seed. While not nearly as invasive as true mint varieties, Mountain Mint will spread. Needs staking in windy locations. Used in potpourri, incense, and as an ingredient in natural insect pest repellent formulas. Medicinal: In tea for indigestion, fevers, and to regulate the menstrual cycle."
