"Blazing Star is a beautiful plant often raised for its ornamental appeal. Has rosy purple spikes of flowers up to 15 long. The dried roots of the plant have a soft vanilla smell and will repel moths when placed among clothes. A hardy perennial that is easy to grow from seeds reaching 3-6 feet tall.
