"An old German Heirloom variety of spelt used for flour milling, this is an ancient distinct species of wheat that makes a wonderful flour for sourdough breads, and can be eaten even by persons normally sensitive to wheat. Of course, we offer it as an ornamental plant, it grows 4-5 ft. tall with long, slender seed heads that droop when the seed is ripe, very ornamental. "
